Manpower supply Romania: recruitment agency for Nepali workers
Romania's own workforce has emigrated to Western Europe in large numbers, leaving employers short-handed and increasingly reliant on foreign labour under an annual work-permit quota. Moon Treasure places trade-tested Nepali workers with Romanian employers as part of our Turkey-first European expansion.
Manpower supply to Romania
Filling the gaps left by an emigrating workforce
Romania has one of the tightest labour markets in the European Union. Over the past two decades, several million Romanian workers have left for Western Europe in search of higher wages, leaving employers at home short of workers across construction sites, factory floors and farms. That gap has pushed Romanian employers and the Romanian government to look outward, opening the door to workers from Nepal, South and Southeast Asia to fill roles the domestic workforce is no longer available to take.
Romania's economy runs on a mix of construction, automotive-parts manufacturing and agriculture. International automotive suppliers operate large plants in Romania feeding car assembly lines across Europe, while ongoing infrastructure and housing construction and a seasonal agricultural sector all compete for the same limited pool of local labour. Foreign workers are admitted against an annual quota set by the Romanian government, allocated across sectors and adjusted from year to year to reflect where the shortages are most acute.
For Moon Treasure, Romania is a natural extension of our Turkey-first European expansion. Turkey is our established gateway into European recruitment. Romania, reachable through the wider Black Sea region and increasingly recognised as a destination for South Asian workers, is one of the next markets we are building recruitment channels into, applying the same screening, documentation and ethical-recruitment standards we use for our UAE operations.

How recruitment for Romania works
- Recruit and trade-test in Nepal: we source candidates and skill-test them against the employer's job order before any paperwork begins.
- Handle documentation within the quota: we prepare and submit the work-permit application in line with whatever quota allocation is in force at the time.
- Coordinate visa and travel. Once approvals come through, we arrange visa formalities, medical clearance and travel bookings for the worker.
- Support deployment. Workers are placed with the employer, and our team stays reachable for both sides through the first weeks on the job.
