Manpower supply to Malta

Malta is a small island, and its economy runs on labour it cannot fully staff itself. The domestic workforce is limited, the economy leans heavily on services and construction, and Maltese employers routinely look beyond the island's shores to keep hotels, building sites, warehouses and retail floors running. This isn't a seasonal gap that closes in the off months. For a country this size, importing documented workers is simply how the economy functions.

Tourism and hospitality carry much of that weight. Hotels, restaurants and resorts run at high occupancy for most of the year, and that keeps the need for reliable front- and back-of-house staff more or less constant. Malta is also a maritime and aviation hub in its own right, with a major transshipment port and heavy air-cargo and passenger traffic feeding steady demand for logistics and warehousing workers. Layer on a construction and property boom that shows little sign of slowing, and the island's appetite for civil and building-trade labour stays high as new residential and commercial stock keeps going up.

Malta fits directly into Moon Treasure's wider European expansion strategy. Turkey remains our priority gateway market.
