Recruiting from Nepal

Our on-the-ground presence in Nepal lets us recruit, trade-test and prepare workers before they ever reach the UAE, with quality controlled at the source and built on a DoFE-compliant process.

Nepal overview

Why Nepal is a strong source of manpower

Understanding the labour market we recruit from, and why it matters for the quality of workers we supply.

Nepal has one of the youngest and largest working-age populations in South Asia, and for decades a significant share of that workforce has looked abroad for opportunity. Foreign employment is not a marginal activity in Nepal's economy. Remittances from overseas workers make up a substantial share of national income, and outbound labour migration is a well-established, culturally understood path for households across the country. That scale and familiarity is exactly what makes Nepal a dependable source of manpower: workers arrive at the recruitment process already informed about what overseas employment involves.

That migration is governed by Nepal's Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE), which licenses recruitment agencies, requires employer demand letters to be verified and attested, and issues the labour permit every worker must hold before leaving the country. This regulatory framework exists precisely because foreign employment has historically been vulnerable to fraud and exploitation, and it gives both employers and workers a structured, accountable process to rely on.

Recruiting inside this framework matters, but it is not enough on its own. We source on the ground in Nepal rather than through remote third-party agents, which is what lets us trade-test, screen and medically clear candidates before they are ever put forward to an employer. That combination of regulatory compliance and direct, local screening produces workers who are genuinely ready for the role they are hired for, and not merely paperwork-ready for it.

How it works

How we recruit in Nepal

A structured pipeline from sourcing through to a worker's first day on the job.

1

Sourcing & shortlisting

We recruit directly in Nepal, through our own network and district-level outreach, rather than relying on remote agents. Candidates are shortlisted against the employer's actual role profile: trade, experience, physical requirements and prior overseas work where relevant.

2

Trade-testing & skills verification

For skilled positions, candidates sit a practical trade test before they are ever put forward to an employer. This confirms real competence rather than relying on a CV or a certificate alone, and it protects employers from mismatched hires.

3

Medical clearance

Selected candidates undergo medical examination at an approved facility to confirm fitness for the role and destination. Any issue is identified and resolved before departure planning continues, not after arrival.

4

DoFE documentation & labour permit

We prepare and process the documentation required under Nepal's Department of Foreign Employment framework, including labour permit approval, so each worker travels on a properly authorised, legal footing.

5

Pre-departure orientation

Before travel, workers attend an orientation covering their contract terms, the destination country, and how to reach us if a problem arises. Nobody leaves Nepal without knowing exactly what to expect.

Worker protection

Ethical recruitment is the whole point

Jobseekers researching an agency deserve a straight answer. Here's ours.

  • Any fee a worker might owe is put in writing before they sign anything, not explained after
  • Nothing extra gets added once a candidate has committed to a role
  • We only work job orders confirmed directly with the employer, never speculative postings
  • Every worker knows who to call if something goes wrong, from shortlisting through to deployment
Compliance note: Recruitment from Nepal follows the DoFE licensing and labour-permit framework. Specific licence numbers and permit status reflect the credentials we currently hold. Contact our team for our current, verifiable status. See our full Compliance & Ethics commitment.

FAQ

Nepal recruitment questions

Most of our volume is construction: masons, steel fixers, carpenters and electricians. Beyond that we place hospitality and catering staff, cleaning and facility teams, security personnel, warehouse and logistics workers, and general labour. If a role runs from a certified tradesman to someone new to overseas work, we can usually find a match already in our pipeline.
